Company ProfileIn the Summer of 2006, Edgardo Guerrero (EG) and Nick Rugai teamed up with the idea of producing the best wingsuits on the market. Long-time skydiver, rigger, and pilot, EG owns EG Suits and he has been tailoring skydiving suits and accessories for any type of discipline since 1976 and the quality of his suits is unsurpassed. EG also used to manufacture skydiving harness/container systems and canopies. Nick made his first skydive as a paratrooper in 1993, he is a FAA master rigger, BASE jumper, instructor, pilot, and owner of Nitro Rigging LLC. Nick also has a strong scientific background. When the two got together their individual expertise complimented each other. EG is mostly in charge of the manufacturing while Nick is the R&D and test pilot. Their idea was not to produce “just another wingsuit” but the best wingsuits current technology, cutting-edge materials, and innovation had to offer. Moreover EG Wingsuits is dedicated in spreading the love for wingsuit flight! All EG wingsuits implement a unique and very easy hook-up system (no more cables to thread every time you put a rig on), a unique cutaway system that also acts as ram-air intake, heavy duty zippers, all-around reinforcements, wide leg-stance, inflatable booties and back of legs, quality leather soles and toes, double front zippers, leg-long side zippers, and double padded arm leading edges. All the suits are made of 420 parapack fabric for enhanced durability, strength, and performance. The body of the suit is lined with a choice of a natural canvas-like material or mesh that makes the suit feel at “home” when in contact with your body parts, i.e. no more sticky fabric against your skin. The suits could also be lined with F-111 for extremely cold climates. The ribs of all the wings are fabricated from a state-of-the-art semi-rigid composite fabric that is made by 6 different laminates oriented vertically, horizontally, and diagonally. This fabric is not only virtually distortion-free, it is also extremely strong (~800 LBS/inch) and unlike Mylar it won’t crack with use. This translates into incredibly well formed wings that will retain their shapes even during the most radical maneuvers/loads. EG wingsuits also feature inner sleeves that not only prevent the common "zipper nicks" but also they act as air-locks in suits equipped with arm wing back vents. We offer the Rigor Mortis, a state-of-the-art performance suit designed for max glide, the Flockus and Flockus XL, suits designed for flocking and all-around flying in mind, the Volturius, our aerobatics suit, and the Corvus, a two-piece tracking suit. In the Spring of 2008 we will be offering the Rigor Mortis BASE, an integrated wingsuit/harness/container system for BASE jumping, and the Tandus, the world's first tandem wingsuit!
They fly like pissed off bats out of hell They pop like ADD banshees They got the leg stance of a Portuguese whore They put all the other wingsuits in body bags
